Environment Day at our school is a vibrant celebration focused on raising awareness and inspiring action for environmental conservation. On June 4 th and 5 th , the two-day event brings together students and teachers for a day packed with engaging activities. The celebration kicks off in the presence of Cmde Sreekumar K Pillai who inspired students to keep school, home and surrounding green and protect the environment. Students then participate in quiz competition , covering topics such as climate change, recycling, and biodiversity ,poster making creating art and planting saplings around the school during plantation drive. A highlight of the day is the cultural program , where everyone enjoyed the performances by students. Additionally, students make personal pledges to adopt more ecofriendly habits, which are showcased on a "Green Room" to inspire others. The day culminates in an exhibition of student projects and a sustainability fair featuring posters , science projects, slogans that promote environment protection. Through these activities, Environment Day fosters a deep sense of environmental responsibility and encourages students to take meaningful steps toward a sustainable future.
