Grandparents' Day was celebrated at our school on 23rd September with great joy and enthusiasm. Students honored their grandparents through songs, dances, and heartfelt speeches, expressing gratitude for their love and wisdom. The event created cherished moments, strengthening the bond between generations.
Our school conducts theme-based assemblies where each class represents a different state of India. Students dress in traditional attire from their assigned state and present various aspects of its culture by speaking and singing in the native language. These assemblies celebrate the diversity of India, fostering cultural awareness and unity among students.
On Independence Day, our school celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Senior Education Officer, Commander K M Prakadheeswaran, who addressed the students with an inspiring speech about the significance of freedom and national unity. The event was further enlivened by a series of vibrant cultural performances by the students, showcasing traditional dances and patriotic songs. The day's celebrations were a heartfelt tribute to our nation's history and a reminder of the values we hold.
Our KG school celebrated Janmashtami with joy and excitement, bringing the divine tales of Krishna to life. The little ones were a delightful sight, dressed up as Krishna and Radha, complete with peacock feathers, flutes, and colorful attire. The celebration was filled with cheerful activities, including dances, songs, and playful enactments of scenes from Lord Krishna's childhood. The day was not only a fun-filled experience for the kids but also a beautiful way to introduce them to the cultural heritage and timeless stories of Janmashtami.
