World Ocean Day, celebrated at our school on June 8th, is an inspiring event dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of oceans and promoting marine conservation. The day kicks off with an engaging assembly where students are introduced to the significance of oceans through captivating presentation. Mrs. Sangeetha inspired students with multimedia display featuring underwater ecosystems, marine wildlife, and the critical role oceans play in regulating the Earth's climate and importance of ocean preservation was emphasised with discussions about the impacts of pollution and climate change on marine environments. Student of primary section, Ms. Thaswika Dinesh .R of class III encouraged everyone to keep ocean clean with her speech which included practical steps towards protecting marine habitats.

The students also took an oath to protect and maintain the marine life. The school’s common areas were adorned with informational displays and exhibits about ocean conservation efforts. By integrating these diverse and interactive elements, World Ocean Day at our school fosters a deep appreciation for oceanic ecosystems and encourages students to become proactive stewards of the marine environment, instilling a sense of responsibility and commitment to preserving our planet's vital waters.
